無料でPC上でシンセサイザーを構築できるオープンソースのソフトウェアモジュラー「BESPOKE」が登場

Windows・macOS・Linux上で現実のシンセサイザーのようにモジュールやエフェクターをつないで音を作り出すことができるオープンソースのソフトウェアモジュラー「Bespoke」の正式版となるバージョン1.0.0が、2021年9月14日にリリースされました。

Bespokeは190以上のモジュールが使用可能で、MIDIコントローラーもサポートします。Bespoke上でソフトウェアモジュールをつなぎ合わせることで、自分だけのオリジナルシンセサイザーを構築することが可能です。

また、外部オーディオ入力も可能なので、回路から作り出す電子音以外も使うことができるとのこと。

さらにBespokeは、VSTプラグインをホスティングできます。また、Pythonプログラムによって音楽をリアルタイムで生成する「ライブコーディング」も可能だとのこと。

Bespokeには無料版の「Bespoke Free」、5ドル(約550円)の「Bespoke Plus」、15ドル(約1600円)の「Bespoke Pro」の3バージョンが用意されています。ただし、機能はすべて一緒。有料版は実質Challinor氏への寄付となっています。なお、BespokeはChallinor氏が2011年からオープンソースで開発を進めているもので、GitHubでソースコードが公開されています。
