「Perplexity Computer」の完全ローカル版「Portable Computer」をPerplexityがリリース

Perplexityが2026年2月に公開したAIエージェント「Perplexity Computer」の完全ローカル版にあたる「Portable Computer」をリリースしました。LLMもハーネスも一切クラウドに依存せず、すべてがローカルハードウェア上で動作するのが特徴です。

「Perplexity Computer」はAnthropicのClaude Opus 4.6をコア推論エンジンとして、タスク処理にあたってはそれぞれ最適なモデルのサブエージェントを利用する仕組みになっていて、AIでできることをすべてユーザーに代わって行ってくれるというAIエージェントです。

今回リリースされた「Portable Computer」は「Perplexity Computer」の完全ローカル版にあたります。実行環境はNVIDIAのAIワークステーション「DGX Spark」とNVIDIAのRTXシリーズGPUを搭載したLinux機。

AIエージェントを動かすのに必要なハーネスやモデル、オーケストレーター、ツール類、サンドボックスなどすべてがクラウドに依存せず、ローカルで動作します。

モデルはPPLX 27BとQwen 3.8 27Bが利用可能となっているほか、NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Lightningも近日サポートの見込みです。

まずはサブスクリプションプラン「Perplexity Pro」「Perplexity Max」およびエンタープライズ向けの「Enterprise Pro」「Enterprise Max」の加入者に提供されます。2026年9月にはWindowsもサポートされる予定です。
