◆ February 2020 GIGAZINE Manga Award Top Drawing Illustration
Kawaku- san gave me the top illustrations for February 2020. A cute and fascinating demon girl and gorgeously colored flowers and birds make this a beautiful piece that makes you feel the season.

Kawaku 'I drew a rough sketch to make it a demon character from Setsubun because it was the top illustration for February. I got the idea from Hanafuda's February 'Ume ni Uguisu.' I wanted to draw a large warbler. , I made the character a dwarf size. I am eating a dumpling of Uguisu bean paste.'
Kawaku 'I was also a demon character from Setsubun, and since I was still cold in February, I wanted to draw snow and an umbrella.'
Kawai 'I redrawn the rough based on the checkback. I narrowed down to only what I needed and made the screen deeper.'
Kawai 'I draw a line drawing while deciding the design that was roughly drawn in the rough. I make and use a brush that looks like a line like a pencil. Since there is no line drawing in the background, only characters and birds are used. is'
Kawaii 'I divided the layers by color to make it easier to work. Since it is a type that paints each color, I will paint with a sense of unity so that it does not come apart.'
Kawai 'I finished painting all the parts for the time being. According to the modified rough, the flowers in the foreground and the trees in the back were blurred to make the character appear to be in focus.'
Kawaii 'Tweak the effect of light and cover it in places to make fine adjustments until you like it. Finally, add your own sandy texture and add the texture to finish.'

・Since the serialized manga will be posted on GIGAZINE, you can read it first
・There is no strict deadline and it is easy to schedule
-No restrictions on genre or target, anything is OK if it is interesting
・Completion of assistant who can entrust you with color painting and background (no need to pay your own expenses)
・Because it is a young label, opinions and requests can be passed easily like a venture company!

・Basic conditions:
・It is assumed that it can be read on a smartphone (no spreads, vertical scrolling standard)
・Full color, full digital (black and white are treated as 'original')
・The genre is free and the completed manuscript of 'Episode 1' and its making materials . ・Review process:
After the first selection by the editorial department, the following screening process is planned.
Stage 1: GIGAZINE Secret Club Evaluation that can be viewed only by members and evaluation by the editorial department including making materials

Stage 2: Examination after creating additional necessary items such as 'Episode 1 manuscript' and 'Plot to final episode' in a format that is more serialized. At the stage we have reached this point, we promise to serialize in some form or another.

Final stage: Serialized manuscript will be judged by the GIGAZINE editor-in-chief + GIGAZINE secret club member's evaluation + GIGAZINE serialized writers will judge the guests and determine the grand prize winner overall. We will assure serialization when the final stage is reached.
・Reward:
To commemorate the new development of GIGAZINE Manga from March 2020, the rewards including the prize amount have been renewed as follows. ◆Original script recruitment guidelines
-In addition to the first episode manuscript , prepare the plot (synopsis) from the first episode to the last episode . Synopsis Please describe in detail the flow of the whole work, from 100 to 800 characters, and write it on the first page of the manuscript.
・In the first screening, we will look at the fun of a simple story and the completeness of one story. If you proceed from the second screening to the final screening, we will judge whether you can consistently create a script written in G up to the final story, in consideration of actually creating the original manga.
・In the case of 'Original only' and only characters are applied, it is okay if you paste the text in the Google document and then enter the address of the shared link in the application form. In that case, please do not edit the document after applying.
