The GIGAZINE manga will be newly developed, such as the manga serialized from 2019 being completed and made into a book, and a

new serialized work is waiting for it from March 2020. The GIGAZINE Manga Award will be greatly renewed in line with the new development of manga . ◆ Illustrations for the top images of the GIGAZINE Manga Awards for March 2020
Mr. Torinome gave the top illustration for March 2020. The burstingly bright girls and the refreshing scenery make you feel the warm season with the babbling of the river.

Below is the making of the illustration.

Foreword: 'This time in March, I drew two kinds of rough sketches with the theme of 'spring'. The first is a composition in which a girl is actively crossing the river.'

Forgetting 'The other is a girl trying to catch the flying petals from the train.'

I asked for the rough roughs of the girls who cross the river because they feel comfortable in the spring. As I proceeded with the detailed rough here, I asked for changes such as putting the main girl in the foreground more in the center and putting the whole body as much as possible so that the dynamic feeling of the river crossing could be easily understood. For the time being, 'In the big rough stage, it was a form of vaguely making a proposal, so I will arrange it firmly here.'

Completed rough with minor corrections.

Forgetting 'I'm going to draw a line along the rough. I like a rattling line, so I draw slowly without correction (I can't use a bucket for painting, so I see hell).'

Forgetting 'I will continue to paint. Check the brightness balance by looking at it from a distance or flipping it, and adjust it from the top. Finally, adjust the color with overlay etc. It is complete. Thank you for giving me!'

・When you serialize manga on GIGAZINE...?
・Complete remote & work timing

・Since the serialized manga will be posted on GIGAZINE, you can read it first

・There is no strict deadline and it is easy to schedule

-No restrictions on genre or target, anything is OK if it is interesting

・Completion of assistant who can entrust you with color painting and background (no need to pay your own expenses)

・Because it is a young label, opinions and requests can be passed easily like a venture company!

・Basic conditions:
・It is assumed that it can be read on a smartphone (no spreads, vertical scrolling standard)

・Full color, full digital (black and white are treated as 'original')

・The genre is free and the completed manuscript of 'Episode 1' and its making materials . For the making materials, in addition to character design and settings, please send a synopsis of the whole story in the range of about 200 to 800 characters. Please note that the screening may not proceed if there are insufficient entries.

・Original format:
Please refer to ' Princess and Gamer ' for aspect ratio, file size, and resolution.

-Number of originals:
freedom. Any page is OK.

・Other:
・Primary creation already announced by other media and platforms

-A work that was published in a magazine but was not published in a book or that was cut off due to strange circumstances on the way is also OK. Please do not give up.

・'Drawing only' is OK if you can show the URL of the portfolio and the work collection. For those that pass the first stage examination, we will have you actually draw a trial original in the second stage examination, and after passing, we will go to the final stage voting examination.

・Review process:

After the first selection by the editorial department, the following screening process is planned.

Stage 1: GIGAZINE Secret Club Evaluation that can be viewed only by members and evaluation by the editorial department including making materials

Stage 2: Examination after creating additional necessary items such as 'Episode 1 manuscript' and 'Plot to final episode' in a format that is more serialized. At the stage we have reached this point, we promise to serialize in some form or another.
↓
Final stage: Serialized manuscript will be judged by the GIGAZINE editor-in-chief + GIGAZINE secret club member's evaluation + GIGAZINE serialized writers will judge the guests and determine the grand prize winner overall. We will assure serialization when the final stage is reached.

・Reward:

To commemorate the new development of GIGAZINE Manga from March 2020, the rewards including the prize amount have been renewed as follows. It is clarified, including the question 'How far can I proceed to serialize?' so please do not miss it. The left side of the arrow is the conventional setting, and the right side is the reward from March 2020.

All passed the first screening and selected for the first stage:
Prize money 10,000 yen → Prize money 30,000 yen

Second stage entry:
Additional prize money 20,000 yen → Additional prize money 20,000 yen + editing in charge for serialization

Finalists:
Prize money only when winning or winning the grand prize → Additional prize money of 50,000 yen (100,000 yen in total) at the final stage advancement + serialization commitment after brushing up the submitted work

Prize:
Prize money 50,000 yen → Prize money 100,000 yen + serialized commitment

Grand Prize:
Prize money 100,000 yen → Prize money 500,000 yen + serialized commitment with the submitted work as it is

・Results of selection of submitted works
For works that go through the first stage screening, we will contact the e-mail address at the time of application by the end of the month following the application month for details of the screening.
In other cases, please note that we do not basically notify the examination results.

・Flow after winning
After finishing the serialization on GIGAZINE, it will be sold as an electronic book on Amazon. We will pay the prescribed manuscript fee and royalty respectively. GIGAZINE is responsible for selling and advertising electronic books.

◆Original script recruitment guidelines

-In addition to the first episode manuscript , prepare the plot (synopsis) from the first episode to the last episode . Synopsis Please describe in detail the flow of the whole work, from 100 to 800 characters, and write it on the first page of the manuscript.

・In the first screening, we will look at the fun of a simple story and the completeness of one story. If you proceed from the second screening to the final screening, we will judge whether you can consistently create a script written in G up to the final story, in consideration of actually creating the original manga.

・In the case of 'Original only' and only characters are applied, it is okay if you paste the text in the Google document and then enter the address of the shared link in the application form. In that case, please do not edit the document after applying.
