Apple announces price cut of 10th generation iPad by up to 10,000 yen, and at the same time, iPad with earphone jack quietly disappears

The 10th generation iPad was announced on October 19, 2022, and has been reborn as an all-screen design, with the Touch ID built-in home button removed from the screen. The charging port has also been changed from Lightning to USB-C.

In addition, at the same time as announcing the 6th generation iPad Air and the M4-equipped iPad Pro, Apple removed the 9th generation iPad from its official website lineup and quietly ended official sales.
