If you encounter more than one of the above issues, Apple has published the following steps as a workaround.

1: Unpair Apple Watch and iPhone and automatically back up Apple Watch data to iPhone

3: Reset iPhone to erase all content and settings
4: Restore iPhone with iCloud backup
5: Pair your Apple Watch again and restore your Apple Watch
