The outer box looks like this.

Open the lid.

Contents include LCD tablet, pen case, Wacom Pro Pen 2, pen holder, AC adapter, power cable, coloring, quick start guide, cleaning cloth, mobile stand.

The color ring can be attached to the pen shaft, and there are 4 colors in total.

The size of the LCD tablet is 26.2 cm long × 41.8 cm wide × 2.1 cm thick, and the display size is 15.6 inches.

On the left side of the surface, there are 8 express keys, touch wheels, and home buttons that can be assigned with shortcuts and executed with one key.

On the right is a 5 megapixel camera.

The back is like this.

Unlike the first-generation Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16, you can add memory and replace SSDs. By default, 16GB main memory and one empty slot, SSD is 512GB, and the cover can be removed with a Phillips screwdriver.

On the back is an 8 megapixel camera.

Set the mobile stand in the stand mounting slot in the red frame.

The mobile stand can be adjusted in three stages. The first generation Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 was sold separately, but the second generation Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 is bundled so there is no need to buy a new one.

Set the metal part of the red frame on the main body and adjust the height.

The most gentle angle of the stand is 16 degrees.

The middle is 30 degrees.

The most inclined angle was 43 degrees.

On the left side, the volume button, screen rotation lock, power slide switch, headphone jack, and SDXC card slot are arranged in this order from the left.

The right side of the main body looks like this.

From the left, Thunderbolt 3 port, USB Type-C port, Thunderbolt 3 port, and

Kensington lock are listed in this order. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports have been added from the first generation Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16.

You can insert a pen holder into the Kensington lock.

It looks like this when set.

The included pen case can hold a pen ...

You can also store the pen nib. Two standard cores and one felt core were included as replacement cores.

There is a hole on the back of the case for removing the core.

◆ Setup
Prepare the AC adapter and power cable to charge the main unit. Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 can be driven without a power cable for up to about 5 hours when fully charged.

First, connect the USB Type-C terminal of the power cable ...

Insert the USB Type-C port on the side.

Next, connect the AC adapter and power cable, and connect the AC adapter's power plug to an outlet.

When fully charged, slide the power switch on the side of the unit to turn it on.

The following is when the power is turned on. Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16's OS comes standard with Windows 10 Professional, and the screen is anti-glare that prevents light from reflecting.

To set up the pen, touch panel, and express key, open Wacom's Desktop Center.

When the window opens, click “MobileStudio Pro 16” from “My Device”.

In “Tap Settings”, you can set touch gestures.

Touching “Enable touch input” on the “Touch panel” tab enables touch operation.

The pen key assignment can be set from the “Pen” tab of “ProPen 2”.

If you are concerned about the parallax of the pen, select “Position” from the “Propen 2” tab ....

You can make adjustments by clicking the center of the cross on the screen with the pen tip.

Express key assignment can be set from “Function Key” tab of “Function”.

Gesture settings can be changed from “Individual Gesture Settings” on the “Touch Panel”.

You need to purchase

Wacom Link Plus (sold separately) for “Desktop Mode” that can be used as a liquid crystal pen tablet when connected to a PC.

◆ I tried to draw a picture by an illustrator
Illustrator Hoshino Ruru actually used Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 to draw a picture. I usually use “ Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 ” and “ CLIP STUDIO PAINT ” when drawing, so I asked the paint software to use CLIP STUDIO PAINT. The drawing comfort is 'smooth and easy to draw', but it is a unique drawing feeling different from the drawing feeling like paper. You can draw comfortably, and the parallax and the resolution when zoomed in / out are 'not so much'.

If you charge the battery, you can work anywhere, so people working at home are able to draw in the work room or in the living room and work anywhere. Hoshinoru says that he often connects a pen tablet to a PC and draws pictures, so he said 'I want to connect a keyboard' for shortcut keys.

If you work for a long time with an LCD tablet, the body gets hot and some people get cold burns on their wrists. Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 also has a bit of heat when working for a long time ...

Since the screen can be rotated, the heated part can be placed on the upper side, so you can work comfortably. However, right-handed people need to be careful because the wrist may hit the express key and cause malfunction.

There is also a happening that the stand will come off while drawing pictures. If the stand is not properly attached, it may come off, so it is necessary to push it in until it snaps into place. Hoshinoru also said, 'I'm glad to be able to fine-tune the tablet angle during work to reduce wrist fatigue.' Since the included mobile stand has only three angles, it is recommended that the

main unit be set face down, so you will need to suspend work each time you adjust the angle. Like the stand attached to “ Wacom Ergo Stand ” and “ Wacom Cintiq 22 ”, it does not seem to be suitable for fine-tuning the angle easily while drawing a picture.

You can check the state of drawing with Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 for less than 2 hours in the following 10x movie.
