Next, enter the name of Netatmo Welcome and the name of the place where Netatmo Welcome will be installed and tap 'OK'.
The name must be entered with 3 to 15 characters, and special characters cannot be used.
The tutorial will start, so tap the arrow at the bottom right to continue reading. Netatmo Welcome recognizes the person whose face is in front of the camera, and if registered, the name will be displayed.
The best place to put Netatmo Welcome is in the middle of the entrance, where the camera can show people's faces from the front.

This is the home screen of the Netatmo Welcome app. People at home are displayed in the upper half, but nothing is displayed in the initial stage because no one is in the camera. The bottom half of the screen shows the video being shot by the Netatmo Welcome camera in real time. Tap the gear icon on the upper left to see the setting screen.

When the Netatmo Welcome camera recognizes a person's face, a round face icon is displayed in the center of the screen as shown below. To register a person in the app, tap and hold the face photo and tap 'recognition'.
Since the profile creation screen opens, enter a name, and if it is a photo of the owner of the smartphone, check the 'This is me' check box and tap 'Create' to complete registration of the person.
To change the information of the registered face photo, long press the face photo and tap 'Edit'.
Then the profile edit screen was displayed. As the number of times the face is recognized by the camera increases, the recognition accuracy will improve.
In addition, it is possible to individually set 'whether to display notification on arrival', 'time to display notification', and 'video recording timing' for each registered person.
So I went back and forth in front of the camera and took some photos of my face. Touch and hold the face photo and tap 'Recognize'.
Registered people are displayed in a row, so tap the person in the photo to select it.
You will be asked, 'Are there other relevant photos?', so if you select all the photos of the same person and tap 'Accept', the face photo will be registered as profile information and the accuracy of the face recognition of the camera will be registered. Is gradually rising.
