Announcement number two: At the general meeting held on April 12th (Sunday), the editor-in-chief of GIGAZINE officially assumed the position of chairman of the Betsuin-cho Neighborhood Association. Two new vice-chairmen and one new treasurer were also appointed, resulting in a major overhaul. The association immediately began reviewing and correcting last year's financial statements, which were in complete disarray. The collection errors in neighborhood association fees from some shops in the shopping district were also resolved and refunded. At the briefing for neighborhood association chairmen held on the evening of April 24th (Friday) at the Kitashin Hall on the first floor of Oni-Kuru, everyone was overjoyed to learn that new IT-related subsidies would be available this year! However, this joy was short-lived, as at the first festival committee meeting for the Ibaraki Shrine Summer Festival on May 9th (Saturday), it was confirmed that the Betsuin-cho Neighborhood Association had paid significantly more than other neighborhood associations. It was a turbulent start to the new association.

Before considering 'how to proceed,' the understanding is that ' the fence must never be removed until the reason for its construction is understood .' Therefore, in order to accurately grasp the current situation in Betsuin-cho, the Betsuin-cho Residents' Association is investigating, recording, and verifying various past events so that anyone can examine them. A detailed report is included in the community bulletin distributed this week, and the three bulletin boards are also being refurbished.

Announcement #3. The illustration and manga creation workshop at Ibaraki Elementary School's after-school children's classroom will resume on Wednesday, June 3rd. If you are able to attend, please come to the after-school children's classroom on the first floor of Ibaraki Elementary School on that day! Just like last time, you don't need to bring anything and there is no participation fee! If you want to know what the creative club at the after-school children's classroom does, please read the article below.
