Reports suggest Sony has abandoned plans to port PS5 games like 'Ghost of Yotei' to PC, and will likely focus on exclusive titles for its own hardware going forward - GIGAZINE

According to a new Bloomberg report, Sony is reportedly abandoning the PC port of this popular exclusive title and returning to a strategy of keeping it as a PlayStation exclusive.
According to information obtained by Bloomberg from Sony sources, online games such as PlayStation exclusive titles ' Marathon ' and ' MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls ' are still planned to be released on multiple platforms, including PC.
On the other hand, it appears that single-player games such as 'Ghost of Yotei' and ' SAROS ' will remain PlayStation exclusives and will not be ported to PC.

However, titles such as ' DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH ' and ' Kena: Scars of Kosmora, ' which are produced by external development studios and published by PlayStation, are scheduled to be ported to PC sometime in 2026.
Regarding the withdrawal of the strategy to port PlayStation exclusive titles to PC, Bloomberg reported that 'one possible reason for the change in strategy is that some PlayStation games have not sold well on PC. Also, sources familiar with Sony's internal affairs have expressed concerns within PlayStation that the PC release could damage the PlayStation brand image and negatively impact sales of the PlayStation 5 and its successors.'
