Preparations for the departure ceremony were made on Platform 2, located just inside the ticket gate, and fans who had obtained numbered tickets gathered there.
To become the stationmaster for the day, the stationmaster presented Ms. Tomatsu with a letter of appointment.
After practicing the departure signal, Ms. Tomatsu gave the signal to the limited express 'Uzushio No. 8' which was scheduled to depart Tokushima Station at 9:24.
The express train accelerates after receiving a signal from Ms. Tomatsu.
It sped off towards Takamatsu.
After this, Ms. Tomatsu took on duties as stationmaster, such as making announcements and providing arrival information within the station.
Additionally, a special stage featuring Tomatsu-san and Yusuke Kobayashi, who plays the role of Shizuki Soujurou, was held on the first day of Machi★Asobi vol.30.
The stage was filled with excitement, including a video message from Kana Hanazawa, who plays the role of Arisu Kuonji.
Finally, a commemorative photo was taken with the audience in the background.
