Trump Mobile, a telecommunications service company run by relatives of President Donald Trump, has revealed to major newspaper USA Today that it will finally begin shipping its long-delayed proprietary device, the T1 Phone.

Trump Mobile, established in May 2025, is an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) that does not own its own network infrastructure. It has announced the launch of its own device, the 'T1 Phone,' which features a gold exterior and a design based on the American flag.

Initially, the T1 Phone was scheduled to ship in September 2025, but it ultimately did not ship within 2025. When customer service was contacted by Fortune magazine at the end of 2025, they responded that they had been told it would ship in mid-to-late January 2026.
However, this plan ultimately fell through, and it was revealed in February 2026 that the device would be redesigned.
When the new design was announced in April 2026, the release date was listed as 'undecided.' However, Trump Mobile CEO Pat O'Brien has now revealed to USA Today that 'pre-orders will begin shipping to customers this week.'
According to O'Brien, the T1 Phones being shipped are manufactured in the United States, and the parts used are also primarily made in the United States. It is unclear whether they are 'all made in the USA.'
After acknowledging the delay, O'Brien expressed confidence, saying, 'But now that we're able to deliver such a great product, we believe the delay was worthwhile.'
