Dominic Preston of The Verge reported that he was shown the actual T1 during a Google Meet call with Eric Thomas and Don Hendrickson, two of Trump Mobile's three executives.
The 'T1' is a unique device that was announced at the same time as the Trump Mobile service announcement, and is touted as a 'sleek gold smartphone designed and manufactured in America with a focus on performance.' The back of the phone features the 'T1' logo and the American flag, and features three rear cameras arranged in two rows.

However, the device that Mr. Preston showed has a design in which three cameras are arranged vertically.

According to Preston, Thomas and his colleagues revealed that the device's size has been increased from the originally planned 6.25 inches to a larger device closer to 6.8 inches, and that the specifications have been revised and the device has been redesigned.
One of the key features of the T1 was that it was 'Made in America,' but that phrase was removed within weeks of its announcement.

When Preston confirmed this, Thomas and his team acknowledged that the planes are not entirely made in the U.S., but emphasized that 'final assembly will be done in Miami, Florida.' However, they were vague about the earlier stages, saying that they will be done in 'preferential countries,' which Preston explained 'means it's not China.'
Although no specific date for when the device will be released was given, Preston predicted, 'Since the actual device was there, I think it will probably be released next month.'
