◆ A feature to translate only the selected area has been added
When using Firefox's translation feature, it is now possible to translate only specific parts of a page instead of translating the entire page. Select the part you want to translate and click 'Translate selection to English.'
A small window will appear and the relevant part will be translated, as shown below. Unfortunately, like the previous translation function, it does not support Japanese.
◆You can now check the amount of data that will be deleted before deleting site data
In Firefox, you can delete the data and cache of sites you have previously visited by clicking 'Clear Data' under 'Cookies and Site Data' in the 'Privacy and Security' settings.
In addition to deleting all past data, you can also select data from a specific time period to delete. Starting with Firefox 128, data is categorized more simply and you can see how much data is expected to be cleared when you select a time period.
◆ Improved compatibility with private browsing
You can now play protected content from streaming sites like Netflix even while browsing privately.
