According to a preliminary review video by YouTuber Brian Tong, visionOS 1.0 does not allow you to organize apps on the home screen, and it is not possible to change the arrangement of apps.

On the home screen below, 13 visionOS application icons are displayed: TV, Music, Mindfulness, Settings, Freeboard, Safari, Photos, Memos, App Store, Mail, Messages, and Keynote.
Then swipe your hand to page through and the third-party visionOS app will appear. However, these third-party apps are arranged alphabetically, and the order cannot be changed. So if your favorite app is later in the alphabet, you'll have to keep swiping through the UI until you see the app you want.
Also, iOS and iPadOS allow you to combine multiple apps into one folder, but visionOS does not seem to allow you to create folders.
Furthermore, with iOS and iPadOS it is possible to create website shortcuts on the home screen, but with visionOS it is not possible. Some of the popular apps on iOS and iPadOS, such as Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify, are not scheduled to be released on visionOS, but services that have web versions available can be accessed via Safari.

However, visionOS does not allow shortcuts to be created on the home screen, so in order to access YouTube or Netflix, you must launch a browser such as Safari and access from 'Favorites' each time.
Apple-related news site 9to5Mac says, ``Ideally, you would be able to add a website to the Apple Vision Pro's home screen, just like you can on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Unfortunately, that's not the case with visionOS 1.0. I hope they add this feature as a priority.'
