Review the appearance of Amazon's wireless security camera 'Spotlight Cam Plus' with LED light and actually install it outdoors
On February 28, 2023, Amazon released a wireless security camera ' Spotlight Cam Plus ' equipped with an LED sensor light. In addition to power supply using a power adapter, Spotlight Cam Plus can also be driven completely wirelessly with a repeatedly rechargeable battery. Since I got this camera, I first carefully checked the appearance and then actually installed it.
This is the 'Spotlight Cam Plus' package.
The contents are Spotlight Cam Plus main body and base, screws, Micro USB Type-B cable, instructions, stickers.
The dimensions of Spotlight Cam Plus are 76 mm wide x 80 mm deep x 126 mm high, which is large enough to be grasped with one hand.
The actual weight including the base is 445g.
The top surface is a switch, and when you press the round mark, it makes a clicking sound and sinks a few mm.

On the right side was a sticker printed with a QR code for setup. The seal is designed to be easily peeled off. Since this part is exposed to the outside, it is better to remove it after setup. There is another place where the QR code is printed on the main body, and the same QR code is printed on the package and the instruction manual, so there is no problem even if the sticker is lost.

The bottom also serves as a battery cover and can be removed by turning it counterclockwise.
There was one battery inside. You can put up to 2 in this with the purchase of additional batteries.
The included battery capacity is 5960mAh. We plan to verify in the future how much it will drive with this capacity.
You can charge the battery by connecting the supplied cable to a commercially available USB adapter and inserting the cable directly into the battery.

First, attach the base to the mounting plate. By pushing down the gray plate with the 'UP' side up, the plate and the base will separate.
Attach the plate to the mounting plate using the supplied screws.
Installation complete.
Then insert the plate into the base.
Completely fixed by tightening the drop prevention screw.
Then insert the Spotlight Cam Plus joint into the base.
Tighten the screws on the base to fix the joint.
The installation is completed by fixing the pillar and mounting plate with a stainless steel band.
