All Roles Dubbed by Miyuki Sawashiro in Ufotable's New Anime "Yawarakame"

Ufotable's new anime was revealed at the special event "Machi★Asobi Festival" held on Mount Bizan, Tokushima, along with the screening of Cencoroll and the first chapter of Kara no Kyokai.

The new title was only announced as "Ufotable's New Title" on the screening timetable, causing so many speculation among anime fans. As it was, it turned out to be a short anime film titled "Yawarakame", a collaboration between Ufotable and manga artist Yu Yagami, with all the roles voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro.

A trailer of the oncoming video game God Eater was also screened.

Read on for details and pics.
A panel on Cencoroll was held before the screening.

From left to right: Yuma Takahashi(Aniplex), Atsuhiro Iwakami(Aniplex), Satomi Moriya who voiced Kei, director Atsuya Uki and Hikaru Kondo(founder of Ufotable).

Producer Hiroaki Takeuchi of THINK Corporation(Anime Innovation Tokyo), the production studio of Cencoroll made it at the last minute. He almost didn't make it due to the airplane from Tokyo landing on Takamatsu Airport instead of Tokushima Airport.

The screening was a little delayed to wait for the audience coming from seiyu concert held at another stage. So the guests entertained us with a little chit-chat.

And the screening started.

"Ufotable's New Title" was first on the screening list. Yagami and Ufotable have previously worked together on Dokkoida?!.

The title "Yawarakame" literally means "bit on the soft side".

To be streamed on the BeeTV mobile phone television service.

Yagami is a manga artist, but he works on anime at Ufotable 2-3 days a week.

Miyuki Sawashiro, the main (and only) cast.

Seems like the title also comes from "Yawarakai Kame" (Soft Turtle). The turtle (Kame) and the mum are both voiced by Sawashiro, and she even did some male roles.

Trailer of God Eater came on next.

The gorgeous animated trailer was produced by Ufotable for Namco Bandai's upcoming PSP title "GOD EATER". You can see it on the game's official website(click "Promotion Video" and choose WMV or Quicktime).
