The new Surface Laptop for Business and Surface Pro for Business, featuring the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 architecture, are described as 'a significant leap in graphics performance, offering up to 35% higher graphics performance compared to the M5-equipped MacBook Air.' Some configurations with the Intel Core Ultra X7 are said to be more than 90% faster than the 2022 Surface Laptop 5 , which features an Intel Core i7.
Each model's touchscreen is equipped with haptic feedback, which responds to everyday operations such as clicking with vibrations. Some third-party apps also integrate haptic feedback, making it easier to perform even precise operations using touch. Other features include 'displaying a warning when the pointer approaches the 'close' button to prevent accidentally closing important windows' and 'displaying clear alignment guides when objects snap to guides or canvas edges during drag, zoom, or rotate operations.'

The Surface Pro for Business is a 2-in-1 device that functions as a tablet but can also be used as a laptop by attaching a separately sold detachable keyboard. It features an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor with a 50 TOPS NPU for fast and responsive on-device AI, and supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5x memory, enabling rapid task execution using AI. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $1949.99 (approximately 310,000 yen), but the price for Japan is unknown.

The Surface Laptop for Business (13-inch) is described as 'a well-balanced set of productivity features and the most portable Surface Laptop yet,' and features on-device AI, Wi-Fi 7, and a removable Gen 4 SSD. Models with 16GB and 24GB of memory will be available in select markets at the time of announcement, with a manufacturer's suggested retail price starting at $1,499 (approximately 238,000 yen). The model with 8GB of memory will be available in the second half of 2026 starting at $1,299.99 (approximately 207,000 yen).

This model is the highlight of the announcement and is described as a 'premium laptop for knowledge workers and power users who demand superior performance and a sophisticated design,' and 'bringing the performance of an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor to a refined Surface laptop design that helps you stay focused.'
With a refresh rate of 24-120Hz, adaptive color, and adaptive contrast, it improves visibility even in bright environments, and also enhances touch responsiveness. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $1949.99.
Additionally, some 13.8-inch models will offer an option for an integrated privacy screen with anti-glare. This privacy feature is designed to reduce visibility from the sides while maintaining a clear and easy-to-read view for those directly in front of the screen. It is described as 'not simply lowering the brightness, but rather adjusting the balance between readability and privacy protection by considering brightness, light intensity, and the display's contrast characteristics.'
