According to some sources, Meta is working on building photorealistic AI-powered 3D characters, and in the process, is prioritizing the development of an 'AI character modeled after Mark Zuckerberg.'
The AI clone appears to be trained based on Zuckerberg's mannerisms, speech patterns, public statements, and recent corporate strategies. It is hoped that creating an AI clone of Zuckerberg will allow the clone to interact with employees and provide feedback even in his absence.
If the AI clone of Zuckerberg is successful, it may become possible to create similar AI clones of influencers and creators, sources told the Financial Times.
It has been reported that Zuckerberg himself is involved in the development of the AI clones, including training and testing. As Meta focuses on AI, Zuckerberg is reportedly participating in various AI projects for the company, spending 5 to 10 hours a week coding and participating in technical reviews.
