Bluesky's official Japanese account has finally been opened, the first outside of English.

Bluesky's official Japanese account (@jp.bsky.app) was launched on April 3, 2026. This is the first time an official account has been opened in a language other than English.

The official Japanese account was created to translate posts from the official English account (@bsky.app) and to provide announcements for the Japanese market.

I've already translated the announcement about the user recommendation feature posted by the official English account.

Furthermore, they actively respond to user questions, revealing that Japanese speakers are the second largest group of Bluesky users worldwide, after English speakers.
