Bluesky's total number of users has finally exceeded 9 million, and video posting function will be released soon

On August 31, 2024, the Brazilian Supreme Court ordered X to suspend its services. This resulted in a surge in the number of new Bluesky users, with the number of users increasing by 2 million in just one week up to September 3, 2023.

According to a post made by the Bluesky management team on September 7, 2024, the number of new users of Bluesky has reached 3 million, and the total number of users has exceeded 9 million. The post was made in English, Japanese and Portuguese, the official language of Brazil.
