Bluesky's user base has finally topped 20 million, with a special update to celebrate

It has become clear that the total number of Bluesky users has exceeded 20 million. Bluesky has implemented a version upgrade to commemorate the 20 million user milestone, and CEO Jay Graeber has posted a series of '20 Interesting Facts about Bluesky.'

◆Number of users exceeds 20 million
Around November 2024, the number of Bluesky users increased rapidly following events such as 'The US presidential election resulted in a decisive increase in Elon Musk's influence' and 'X (formerly Twitter) updated its terms of use and stated that it would use AI learning on posted content.' After November 17, 2024, the number of users increased at a rate of 1 million per day, and exceeded 19 million on November 19, 2024.

In version 1.94, the settings screen has been reorganized to make it easier to access various items.

In addition, when you import posts from other SNS, the 'date posted to other SNS' will now be displayed along with the 'date posted to Bluesky.'
