NattyNote is a Firefox extension that allows you to take timestamped notes on YouTube.

YouTube has a feature that allows uploaders to place timestamps on videos, enabling users to jump to the corresponding scene with a single click. The Firefox extension ' NattyNote ' allows viewers, not just the uploader, to note down timestamps of videos they're interested in, making it easy to record timestamps for specific scenes even in videos that don't have them set.

A confirmation pop-up will appear, so click 'Add'.

This time, I tried it with the following video, which I recorded at the Bridge Underground Art Museum during '

Machi★Asobi vol.28 '. In this video, we pass under several bridges, but I haven't set timestamps to indicate when we pass under each bridge.

And so the movie starts. A timestamp will be recorded at the beginning, when we depart.

Pressing Alt+P as a shortcut will pause the movie. At the same time, a semi-transparent input field will appear on the screen.

Enter a description for the timestamp here, then press Alt+Enter. The playback time and description will be recorded, and the movie playback will resume.

The recorded timestamps will appear below the video title and description. Of course, clicking on the playback time will jump the movie to the corresponding scene. However, please note that the timestamp notes are added in the order they were entered, not organized in chronological order of playback time.

You can select the timestamp and save it directly to your notepad. You can also share copied and pasted timestamps in the comments section.

The notes are saved locally, and clicking the extension icon displays a collection of timestamps for each YouTube address. Even after closing Firefox, the notes remain saved internally.
