On January 9, 2025, LEGO posted a video on their official Instagram with the caption 'Build the classic Nintendo system in LEGO form.' This video hints at the Game Boy appearing in LEGO.

The LEGO logo is printed on the parts reminiscent of a cross key.
It only says that it will be released in October 2025, and no other information is provided other than the release date. It is expected that further announcements will be made in the future.
