First, I will try the 'Beni Haruka Basque Cheesecake (288 yen including tax)'.

The ingredients include sweet potato paste and natural cheese.

Each piece contains 204kcal.

The inside looks like this. From the side, you can see that it has a two-layer structure of Basque cheesecake and sweet potato.

The Basque cheesecake has just the right amount of sourness, and pairs perfectly with the moist and sweet Beni Haruka sweet potato. The savory, browned exterior adds a nice accent.

Next is 'Beni Haruka Mont Blanc (tax included 328 yen)'. The contents are a little bit shifted, probably because it was shaken during delivery.

The raw materials are sweet potato paste and sweet potato soaked in honey. Each piece is 267 kcal.

From the bottom up, it is layered with sponge and crumble, sweet potato cream, sweet potato sauce, whipped cream, and Mont Blanc cream. It is topped with diced Beni Haruka sweets and caramel sauce, and the whipped cream also contains a sweet potato paste similar to kinton paste.

You can enjoy a variety of flavors and textures all at once, such as the sticky texture of the Beni Haruka paste and the light cream, so it was more satisfying than a Mont Blanc, and felt more like a parfait made with plenty of sweet potato.

This is 'Beni Haruka Sweet Potato Stick (228 yen including tax)'.

The ingredients look like this.

The calories are 181kcal.

I'll put it on a plate and eat it.

This sweet potato is characterized by the original flavor of Beni Haruka, and the contrast between its sticky texture and the cookie dough at the bottom is also a highlight.

Next, I ate the 'Beni Haruka Sweet Potato Sandwich (368 yen including tax)'. Because it was a sample product, the ingredients and calories were not printed on the package.

It is sandwiched between Beni Haruka sweet potato paste and whipped cream made with mascarpone cheese, and the mellow acidity of the cheese brings out the sweetness of the Beni Haruka.

This is the 'Pizza Sandwich Sweet Potato Cheese (Beni Haruka)' and costs 320 yen including tax.

The ingredients are as follows.

The calories are 234kcal.

I cut a slit in the bag and then heated it in the microwave.

Heating is complete. It comes in a paper container so you can eat it while it's still hot by holding it in your hands.

This is what it looks like on a plate.

The saltiness of the melted cheese and the slightly sweetness of the diced Beni Haruka chocolate and paste went together perfectly.

Next, I tried the 'Sweet Potato Tart Danish (168 yen including tax)'. It was in a sample bag with nothing printed on it, so I didn't know the ingredients or calories.

It is a sweet potato tart made with Danish pastry dough, and I thought it was a memorable dessert with the rich sweetness of the custard and roasted sweet potato paste from Beni-Azuma.

The 'Sweet Potato Fluffy Mochi Bread (145 yen including tax)' was also in a transparent bag.

The chewy bread dough is filled with cream made with Beni Haruka chocolate, and the rich flavor of the diced Beni Haruka chocolate is a nice accent to the fluffy texture of the bread.

This is a set of six sweet potato sticks (178 yen including tax), which are about 10 cm long stick breads. This was also in a transparent package, so I couldn't tell what ingredients it contained.

The dough contains sweet potato paste from Beni Haruka and is folded with sweet potato cream from Beni Haruka, giving it a light texture with a strong potato flavor. According to FamilyMart, this sweet potato stick contains 2.6 times as much sweet potato as the same product that was released in 2023.

This is 'Beni Haruka Baumkuchen (198 yen including tax)'.

Sweet potato paste and other ingredients are listed in the raw materials column.

Each piece contains 298kcal.

This is what's inside.

The two-colored Baumkuchen dough is made with Beni Haruka paste, and when you eat it, it has a moist texture and smooth mouthfeel, along with the refined sweetness of the sweet potato.

Next, I tried the Beni Haruka Pound Cake (178 yen including tax).

The raw materials used include candied sweet potatoes.

Each piece contains 267kcal.

I put it on a plate.

The dough is made using Beni Haruka paste and contains diced Beni Haruka, resulting in a pound cake that is moist and has a simple sweet potato flavor.

This is 'Beni Haruka Madeleine (178 yen including tax)'.

The ingredients are as follows.

Calories: 269kcal.

The madeleines are topped with black sesame seeds.

This is what it looks like when turned upside down.

The dough is made with diced Beni Haruka and Beni Haruka powder, so you can enjoy the light texture and rich sweetness of Beni Haruka.

This is 'Beni Haruka Chips (209 yen including tax)'.

The only ingredients are sweet potatoes, vegetable oil, and antioxidants (vitamin C).

The calorie content is 149kcal per 28g bag.

I'll put it on a plate and eat it.

The thick chips have the simple, natural flavor of sweet potato and are perfect for a light snack.

The last thing I tried was the Beni Haruka Imo Kenpi (228 yen including tax).

The ingredients are simple: sweet potatoes, vegetable oil, sugar, and salt.

The calories are 214kcal per 45g bag.

This is what it looks like on a plate.

The thinly sliced Beni Haruka was seasoned with a slight saltiness, creating an addictive sweet-salty taste.

Starting on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 'Family Mart's Potato Digging' will have a total of 16 varieties, including the drink 'Potato Milk Tea (290 yen including tax)' and the ice cream 'Taberu Bokujo Yakiimo (268 yen including tax)' and 'Turkish-style Yakiimo Vanilla (178 yen including tax)' in addition to the ones reviewed this time. They are available at Family Marts nationwide, but some prices may differ in some areas, such as Okinawa.
