Reportedly, Remarkable Alexa incorporates generative AI and can give shopping advice to customers and order Uber Eats deliveries. It has been pointed out that the 'shopping advice' function is similar to Amazon's previously announced text chat service 'Rufus.'

The version demonstrated in September 2023 was said to have a less robotic tone and was able to have a more human-like conversation. A person involved said, 'In the final version, you won't need to call out 'Alexa' multiple times, and it may be possible to provide more personalized services.'
Remarkable Alexa will be available in free and paid versions, with the paid version expected to cost between $5 and $10. This price will be charged separately from Amazon Prime. Amazon is also reportedly planning a free upgrade to make existing Alexa compatible with the generative AI.
Amazon is also working on revamping home automation that can be controlled through Alexa, learning from user behavior to turn on the TV for your favorite TV shows, turn on the coffee pot after your morning alarm goes off, etc. However, some sources point out that 'for these services to work properly, customers will need to purchase additional Alexa-enabled devices.'
