The package of 'Peyoung Yakisoba Four Types of Four Local Series' looks like this. It was sold at a nearby convenience store for 864 yen including tax.

The yakisoba container is wrapped in cardboard.

It is called instant cup noodles, and the ingredients are fried noodles, lard, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, miso, pork extract, tomato ketchup, and gochujang. The weight of the noodles is 360g. Since regular Peyoung noodles are 90g, there are exactly four servings.

Calories are 2077kcal per serving.

The lid had the same illustration as the cardboard.

The container contained Kayaku, Tokai sauce, Tohoku sauce, Chugoku sauce, and Kanto sauce. The Tokai sauce was 'Fujinomiya Yakisoba', the Tohoku sauce was 'Yokote Yakisoba', the Chugoku sauce was 'Hiruzen Yakisoba', and the Kanto sauce was 'Joushu Ota Yakisoba'.

Add the toppings on top of the noodles.

Pour boiling water up to the inside line of the container. The recommended amount of boiling water is 1500ml.

Close the lid and wait 3 minutes.

After 3 minutes, discard the water.

This is what it looks like when you remove the lid. A lot of noodles.

Pour 4 types of sauce over the noodles.

Finally, mix the sauces carefully so they don't mix together and it's done.

The completed form of the 'Peyoung Yakisoba Four Kinds Four Local Series' is as follows. The upper left is 'Fujinomiya Yakisoba', the upper right is 'Yokote Yakisoba', the lower left is 'Hiruzen Yakisoba', and the lower right is 'Joshu Ota Yakisoba'.

First of all, when you try 'Fujinomiya Yakisoba,' you can taste the strong flavor of seafood stock. In the home of 'Fujinomiya Yakisoba,' it is often topped with shaved sardines, so this seems to be a reproduction of that.

'Yokote Yakisoba' has a light flavor and a strong salty taste.

'Hiruzen Yakisoba' has a characteristic sweet and spicy taste similar to yakiniku sauce. The editorial staff who tried it commented that 'It tastes like a sweet and spicy Korean noodle dish' and 'If you weren't told it was yakisoba, you would mistake it for abura soba or some other dish.'

'Joushu Ota Yakisoba' is a sweet-flavored dish with a fragrant sauce. It is the most orthodox of the four types, and one of our editorial staff commented, 'It tastes like the yakisoba I usually eat.'

Since the four varieties of 'Peyoung Yakisoba Four Types Local Series' all have very different flavors, we recommend eating them together and discussing each other's opinions, such as 'I like this one' or 'This one is interesting.'

The suggested retail price of the 'Peyoung Yakisoba Four Kinds of Local Series' is 800 yen (excluding tax) and will be available at convenience stores from Monday, June 17, 2024. It will also be available at stores other than convenience stores on Monday, June 24, 2024.
