◆OpenAI provides AI capabilities to 128 news organizations
Based on its partnership with WAN-IFRA, OpenAI will provide technical assistance and knowledge to 128 news organizations based in Asia Pacific, East Asia, Europe, and Latin America. This initiative is called 'Newsroom AI Catalyst,' and with OpenAI's support, news organizations will be able to use AI functions while avoiding risks such as 'AI generating misinformation' and 'AI promoting bias.'

Vox Media is a media company that operates news sites such as The Verge, Vox, and Polygon. Vox Media announced a partnership with OpenAI on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, and announced that ChatGPT responses will include content from its affiliated media.

◆OpenAI partners with The Atlantic
The Atlantic is a monthly magazine founded in 1857 and also publishes articles online. On Wednesday, May 29, 2024, The Atlantic also announced a partnership with OpenAI.
Through this partnership, The Atlantic's content will be used in ChatGPT responses, and The Atlantic's product team will have privileged access to OpenAI's AI technology. The Atlantic is also building an experimental microsite called Atlantic Labs to explore how AI can be used in journalism, and OpenAI's AI technology is also planned for this site.
