The title screen looks like this. Tap 'Start Game' to move to the stage selection screen.

By default, you can only select STAGE01, so just tap 'Start Game.' Once you have cleared a stage, you can return to it at any time.

The game screen looks like this. Swipe the masked student's face block to swap it with the blocks above, below, left, or right, and line up three or more of the same ones vertically or horizontally to clear the game. The remaining number of moves is displayed in the upper left, and if the goal is not achieved even when it reaches 0, the game is over.

This is what it looks like when you actually play STAGE01.

Move the blocks skillfully to line up three or more vertically or horizontally.

When there are three, they simply disappear, but when there are four or more, a 'bomb block' is born that can destroy the surrounding blocks. There are several types of bomb blocks, so the key to getting a high score is to combine them well.

Whether you have a lot or a few moves remaining, if you achieve your goal, you clear the stage and can move on to the next one. In fact, if you achieve your goal, you are forced to clear the stage, so in order to earn points, it's better to achieve your goal as close to the last minute as possible.

Each time you eliminate a block, the skill gauge fills up, and when it reaches a certain number, you can use the skill by tapping the student's icon with a green frame.

Skills vary depending on the student, but their effects are displayed at the bottom of the screen before use, so there's no need to remember them.

After checking the skill effect, tap the screen again to activate the skill with a cut-in.

Sometimes after moving a block, there will be no other block available to align it with.

However, getting stuck does not result in a game over; all blocks are automatically shuffled.

Chains often occur automatically after shuffling, so even if you think there aren't any blocks you can clear, don't give up.

Below is an example of a chain that can result from using shuffle with a skill.

As you progress to the second half of the game, you'll encounter gimmicks such as 'PMC soldiers' and 'obstacle' blocks that must be defeated by destroying adjacent blocks, 'gold coin bags' that can be dropped to the bottom of the screen to earn money, and 'member rescue' where you must either gather the same members or hit them with an explosion using a bomb block.

The final STAGE 50 is 'Outlaw Mode.' There is no goal, and you can earn as many points as you can by moving as many times as you like.

'Aim for 100 Million! Masked Puzzle Team' is scheduled to be released at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, during the broadcast period of the anime 'Blue Archive The Animation.'
