In October 2021, when the Google Pixel 6 series of smartphones was released, it introduced ' Eraser Magic, ' a feature that allows users to erase unwanted subjects from images.

On the other hand, a new AI-based image editing feature called 'Magic Editor' has been released for the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, which can automatically generate parts that are out of frame and change the weather of the photo itself.

This announcement means that editing features such as 'Edit Magic' and 'Eraser Magic' will be made available to all Google Photos users. Of course, no Google One subscription is required.

However, unlimited image editing and saving will continue to be available only to Pixel and Google One users, with free users limited to 10 saved images per month.

The app requires Android 8.0 or iOS 15 or later, and for Chromebooks, Chrome OS 118 or later or at least 3GB of memory.
