Samsung adds folding devices to self-repair program
Samsung has added devices with folding mechanisms, such as the Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5, to the self-repair program for smartphones and tablets that Samsung has been offering since 2022. This is the first time a foldable device has joined this self-repair program.

Samsung's Self-Repair Program provides genuine parts to Galaxy users and allows them to repair their devices on their own. For smartphones and tablets, the screen, back glass, charging port, speaker, SIM tray, side key, and volume keys can be replaced. For notebook PCs and Galaxy Books, the housing, display, battery, touchpad, power key with fingerprint reader, rubber feet, fans, and speakers can be replaced.
Previously, the repair target was Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, Galaxy Book Pro (15 inch), Galaxy Book Pro 360 (15 inch) .
This time, we newly added Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, S23FE, Z Flip5, Z Fold5, A05s, Tab S9, Tab S9+, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 FE, Tab S9 FE+, A9, A9+, Galaxy Book2 Pro (15 inch ), Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 (15 inch) has been added to the program. This is the first addition of folding terminals.
The program covers South Korea, Japan, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Albania, Andorra, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, and the Czech Republic. Republic of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Switzerland.
