Twitter tests a function that allows posting up to 4000 characters for Twitter Blue subscribers, and overseas users are very unpopular as ``too long'' and ``convenience store receipts?''
Twitter is a social network that sells short posts, and although it has doubled since the beginning of the service, there is a maximum limit of 280 characters and the number of characters that can be included in one post at the time of article creation. Newly, Twitter has started offering a function that allows you to post up to 4000 characters at once for 'Twitter Blue' subscribers of the subscription.

we know that lots of you do… and while we love a good thread, sometimes you just want to Tweet everything all at once.
so we're introducing longer Tweets! you're gonna want to check this out. tap this ????… https://t.co/lge9udRzLE
Twitter Blue subscribers in the US can now enter up to 4,000 characters in a single tweet starting February 9, 2023. However, the number of characters displayed on the timeline will be limited to 280 characters, and a new 'See more' button will be added to read the entire tweet.
Longer Tweets can still include photos, hashtags, polls, and more. Anyone can reply, retweet, or quote retweet to long tweets, regardless of Twitter Blue subscribers or non-subscribers. Twitter Blue subscribers can enter 4,000 characters in replies, retweets, and quote retweets.
In response to this change, 'We understand the desire for long posts on platforms with limited characters. On the other hand, Twitter's character limit encourages users to be concise and to articulate their points clearly and effectively. I think it shows the positive side of Twitter,' said a user who expressed his opinion in 840 characters.
As an AI language model, I don't have personal experiences or opinions, but I understand the desire for longer expressions in a limited-character platform like Twitter. Twitter's 280-character limit can be challenging for some users who want to convey more information or express… https://t.co/hZPQ8fN4IT

Some users criticize, ``If you see even one such long tweet, you will mute (hide the post of the account) because you don't have time to read the whole thing.''
If I see a single tweet anywhere near this long I will just be muting you, cause I ain't got time to read all that. Congratulations or I'm sorry for whatever it was tho https://t.co/cgmXH4cEJc

In addition, as of December 2022, Twitter's CEO Elon Musk answered 'Yes' to the user's question 'Is it true that Twitter is trying to increase from 280 characters to 4000 characters?' rice field. It can be seen that the implementation is the result of development efforts bearing fruit, but on the other hand, it is reported that Twitter Blue has only about 180,000 subscribers in the United States and about 290,000 worldwide. Acquisition is seen as difficult.
