Steam Deck was in such a box.
I took out the case that protects the Steam Deck body from the box. It features the Steam Deck logo in the center.
The case is a sturdy hard case with a handle for easy carrying.
There is a recess on the back side of the case, and it is structured so that accessories can be stored using a rubber belt instead of a lid.
When you open the lid, the Steam Deck body will appear.
Inside the box was the Steam Deck main body, a case to protect the main body, a cleaning cloth, instructions, a pouch, and a charger.
This is the Steam Deck itself. The dimensions of the Steam Deck are 298 mm long side x 117 mm short side x 49 mm thick. The central display is an IPS liquid crystal and is 7 inches in size.
On the right side of the front are sticks, ABXY buttons, menu buttons, trackpads, quick access buttons, and right speakers.
On the left side are the four-way controller, display button, stick, trackpad, Steam button, and left speaker.
It looks like this on the top of the main unit.
Volume button and headphone jack on the left side.
On the right side is the power button and Type-C port.
The back looks like this.
There is a stamp of 'VALVE' in the center.
There are L4 button and L5 button on the right side facing the back.
On the left side of the back there are R4 and R5 buttons, and a ventilation grill for exhaust heat.
The bottom of the main body looks like this.
There is a microSD card slot on the bottom right of the main unit.
The actual weight is 664g.
Taking a Steam Deck looks like this. The grip part is made of plastic, but the shape is designed so that it can be gripped firmly, so there is a sense of stability. Taking a Steam Deck looks like this. The grip has a sense of holding and can be operated stably for its size.
The following movie is where I actually picked up the Steam Deck and pushed the button. The sound of pressing the button makes a clicking sound, but when I actually touched it, it wasn't loud enough to bother me. All the buttons have a solid strength, but they are not difficult to press and have moderate elasticity. The L2 and R2 buttons, which are the triggers, give the impression that they are slightly lighter than the genuine controllers of general home-use game consoles.
I checked the volume of the button when operating the Steam Deck - YouTube
The Steam Deck can be pre-ordered on the official website , and the price is 59,800 yen including tax for the 64GB eMMC model, 79,800 yen including tax for the 256GB NVMe SSD model, and 99,800 yen including tax for the 512GB NVMe SSD model.
