It turns out that the name of 'Reality OS' installed in Apple's VR headset has been applied for a trademark
It turned out that the trademark of the OS ' RealityOS ' that runs on the VR / AR headset that Apple announced from 2022 to 2023 has been filed. This trademark application was not filed in the name of Apple, but in the name of another company.

The existence of RealityOS has been suggested so far, and it is reported that it was named in a repository that Apple inadvertently published on GitHub in February 2022.

And journalist Parker Ortolani reported on Twitter that 'Reality OS' has been applied for a trademark.
It cannot be a coincidence that the “realityOS” trademark owned by a company that seemingly doesn't exist and is specifically for “wearable computer hardware” is being filed around the world on June 8, 2022 https://t.co/myoRbOvgJa + https://t.co/AH97r95EMn pic.twitter.com/uvsiZCj2rR

It wasn't Apple that filed the trademark for 'Reality OS,' but a company called 'Realityo Systems LLC,' which was filed in Brazil on December 8, 2021. According to Ortolani, the company Realityo Systems LLC does not exist publicly, suggesting that it may be a shell company that Apple is using to hide its involvement. In addition, the RealityOS logo used San Francisco, Apple's original font.
The trademarks are also the only ones owned by this company “Realityo Systems LLC.” They were originally filed on December 8, 2021. This was just two months before “realityOS” began showing up in Apple source code.

In addition, it was revealed that Realityo Systems LLC had applied for the 'Reality OS' trademark in Uganda and Uruguay.
credit to @ AliAlimedina42 for this other find: looks like “RealityOS” was also filed in Uganda earlier this year by the same corporation and it's accompanied by a word mark in none other than the San Francisco font https://t.co/IRTW8B7oqK https://t.co/HGKKPF7yB4 pic.twitter.com/pixnUBHG1m

There is a precedent that Apple has registered the code name of macOS such as Yosemite, Big Sur, Monterey, etc. under the company name 'Yosemite Research LLC'. So it's not unnatural for Apple to register the RealityOS trademark under the company name Realityo Systems LLC.
In addition, the RealityOS trademark has set a deadline for filing an international trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on June 8, 2022. This June 8, 2022 is two days after the scheduled date for Apple's developer conference, WWDC 2022. Again, given that Yosemite Research LLC registered the Monterey trademark two days before WWDC 2021, it's probably Apple's usual move.
From this, it seems that there will be some announcement at WWDC 2022 on June 6, 2022 about the details of the VR / AR headset or the Reality OS installed in it.
