Matsuya 'Pupappon Curry' tasting review of rich shrimp & crab wrapped in fluffy eggs

' Phu Pap Pong Curry ', which is a Matsuya style arrangement of Thai specialty curry featuring delicious crabs and fluffy eggs, was released on May 24, 2022 (Tuesday). In addition to crabs and eggs, ingredients such as coconut milk, dried shrimp, and

chili in oil were used, and it was appealing that 'If you chew a bite, you will feel Thai', so I actually tried it and checked the taste.

Arrived at Matsuya. At the entrance of the store, there is a banner that appeals to the Phu Pap Pong curry you are looking for.

This time, I ordered Phu Pap Pong Curry for takeout and brought it home.

The container of Phu Pap Pong curry has a two-tiered structure, with curry in the upper tier and white rice and pickles in the lower tier.

Sprinkle the curry on the white rice.

The finished Phu Pap Pong curry looks like this. You can see the green asparagus and the red ingredients. In addition, it is said that snow crab and fish as food kneading products are used for Phu Pap Pong curry.

When you try it, it is very creamy on the palate and you can first feel the flavor and sweetness of crab and shrimp. Also, after swallowing, the scent of coconut milk remains faint. While eating, you will feel a tingling stimulus at the entrance of your throat, but the spiciness will be softened by the flavor of eggs and coconut milk, and the overall finish will be sweet. The crustacean flavor was so strong that the rice went on and on.

Phu Pap Pong Curry is 690 yen including tax for regular serving and 750 yen including tax for large serving. From May 24, 2022 (Tuesday), it has appeared in Matsuya nationwide except for some stores. In addition, a large amount of rice will be offered for free until 10:00 on May 31, 2022 (Tuesday).
