EU26iJ was delivered in a large cardboard box.

The control panel of EU26iJ looks like this. The red switch is the engine switch, and next to it are the frequency changeover switch and the eco-throttle switch. The outlet has one 26A and two 15A.
An exhaust port is installed on the opposite side of the control panel.
The starting grip is mounted on the left side of the control panel. The slit provided on the left side is the cooling air intake.
There is only a cooling air intake on the opposite side, and no switches are installed.
A sturdy grip is mounted on the top. The fuel filler port is located near the control panel.

When starting EU26iJ for the first time, it is necessary to refuel with oil and fuel (gasoline). First, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the cover on the surface where the starting grip is mounted to refuel.

Next, refuel with gasoline. Gasoline filler caps were fitted with fall-prevention fasteners.
While visually checking the remaining amount of gasoline, I refueled from a gasoline carrying can.
When we measured the weight with oil and gasoline filled up, it was 30.05 kg. With this weight, even one person can carry several tens of meters.
After refueling with oil and gasoline, switch the frequency switch according to the device to be connected and the area to be used before starting. This time I will use it in western Japan, so I switched to 60Hz.

The procedure to start EU26iJ is only two steps. First, set the engine switch to the 'driving' position.
After that, just pull the starting grip to start the engine. You can start the engine smoothly by pulling the starting grip gently, stopping it at a heavy position, and pulling it strongly again.
