Apple has released an app ' Migrate to iOS ' that allows you to transfer data to iPhone via Wi-Fi for Android users, and you can easily transfer from Android device to iPhone.

However, when migrating from iPhone to Android device, there was no app, so it was necessary to back up or manually restore the data to Google Drive in order to migrate data such as contacts, photos and videos. Copying data has become easier since Android 12, but a wired connection using a Lightning cable was required.

'Migrate to Android' released by Google is an app released on April 11, 2022, to facilitate data migration wirelessly.

When you start 'Migrate to Android', it looks like this. Accept the terms of use and privacy policy and tap Start.

By scanning the QR code displayed on your Android device, you will be able to exchange data directly. However, this time we didn't have any Android devices to migrate, so we couldn't go any further.

Settings such as disabling iMessage are also explained in the app so that you can continue to see text messages from friends and family.

We also showed you how to copy photos and videos in iCloud within the app.
