Hankyu will open an egg restaurant, 'Uchi no Tamago, ' where you can enjoy omelet rice and oyakodon using chicken eggs raised at 'Uchino Poultry Farm' in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It has appeared on Third Avenue. I was wondering what the taste of omelet rice and oyakodon, which can be eaten at a restaurant that specializes only in egg dishes, so I actually tried it and checked the taste.

Egg dishes such as 'tamago kake gohan ', ' salt dashi oyakodon ', and ' oyakodon ' are lined up on the menu placed on the seats.

fish sauce soup stock,' were placed on the table.



This time, I ordered 'Egg over rice' and 'Topping Mentaiko' which was recommended. 'Tamago kake rice' comes with rice, eggs, rocky shore soup, and pickles. I chose 'normal' and 'less' for rice, so I chose 'normal' this time.



Miso soup contains plenty of ingredients such as radish, enoki mushrooms, and radish sprouts.



Pakari the egg on top of the rice. The yolk is yellow with a little orange, and the white is pale yellow.



Of the two types of seasonings on the table, select 'salty soy sauce that goes well with eggs' ...

After that, stir well and you're done. The amount of rice is selected as 'normal', but the eggs are firmly entwined in all the rice grains.



Since the color of the yolk was more than yellow instead of orange, I expected that the taste of the yolk would be light, but when I actually tried it, the taste of the dark yolk was entwined with my tongue and it was irresistible for egg lovers. It was a taste. In addition, 'salty soy sauce that goes well with eggs' has more sweetness and bonito flavor than the salty soy sauce, so it enhances the flavor of the egg without drowning it out.



When I ate it with 'Topping Mentaiko', the flavor of the egg was completely drowned out, and I could only feel the flavor of Mentaiko. If you want to enjoy the pure taste of eggs, we recommend you to enjoy it without toppings.



At 'Our Tamago', if you order 'Egg over rice', you can refill the egg and rice once. I asked for a refill and decided to try it with 'fish sauce soup stock' this time.

When you eat a bite, the flavor of seafood such as sardines and bonito of 'fish sauce soup stock' comes out from your mouth to your nose. 'Fish sauce soup stock' has a weak salty taste like 'Soy sauce that goes well with eggs', so I enjoyed the flavor of the egg to the fullest.



There is an order space for takeout outside 'Our Tamago'.



In the take-out space, you can take out 'Oyakodon' and 'Shiodashi Oyakodon'.



In addition, the eggs used in 'Our Eggs' and 'Salty soy sauce that goes well with eggs' were also sold.



That's why I ordered 'Oyakodon' and 'Shiodashi Oyakodon' for takeout and brought them home.



The appearance of 'Oyakodon' looks like this. The eggs are half-ripened and the chicken has a skin.



When you actually eat it, the chicken has a strong elasticity, and every time you chew, the sweet sauce that soaks into the chicken exudes. In addition, the skin is simmered and you can enjoy a crunchy texture. The sauce is dark and sweet, but I enjoyed the overall mellow taste by eating it while entwining it with the soft-boiled egg.



Next, I will try 'Shiodashi Oyakodon'. In addition to chicken and soft-boiled eggs, vegetables such as cherry tomatoes, okra, and zucchini are topped on the rice.



When you try 'Oyakodon', you can feel the flavor of egg yolk and the original sweetness of chicken because it is seasoned with a light sauce unlike 'Oyakodon'. Also, depending on where you eat, you can feel the sourness of tomatoes and the sticky texture of okra.



At 'Oyakodon', 'Egg over rice' is 500 yen including tax until August 31, after that, 600 yen including tax, 'Oyakodon' is 800 yen including tax, and 'Shiodashi Oyakodon' is 850 yen including tax. You can. The 'Shiodashi Oyakodon' is only available in the summer.
