Regarding Zoom, while the number of users has rapidly increased to make it easy to use in online meetings, it has been pointed out that there is concern about security.
Zoom has launched a plan to improve security over three months from April 8, 2020. In May 2020, we acquired Keybase, a startup that develops video call encryption technology.
With the improved Zoom 5.0 according to the plan, AES 256-bit GCM encryption has been enabled for the entire system since the end of May 2020.
End-to-end encryption will be provided as an early beta function from July 2020. Since the conference function will be limited, it will be switched to whether to encrypt it as an option.
