I tried Matsuya's `` chicken Nanban grilled set meal '' where juicy chicken thighs are sinking in the sea of tartar

From 10:00 on May 12, 2020 (Tuesday), the 'Beef Tartare Chicken Nanban Yaki Set Meal ' was newly released at the beef rice chain store Matsuya. As you can see from the name, the special tartar sauce has a herb

tarragon that has a sweet and refreshing flavor. I actually bought it and tried to eat what it tastes like when juicy chicken is mixed with meat.

Until 10th May (Tuesday), it was said that Matsuya's new product will be free of charge for rice large, and it will be 50 yen discount for takeout, so this time at the drive-through store I made a quick purchase and decided to take it home.

I bought 3 sets.

The ' Chicken Nanban Yaki Set Meal ' (650 yen including tax, 600 yen including tax when taking out) does not come with miso soup when taken out, but you can also add it at 60 yen including tax. This is a rice bowl (measured 228g).

' Chicken Nanban Yaki Deluxe Set Meal ' (790 yen including tax, 740 yen including tax when taking out) will add grilled meat. The rice was large (measuring 337g).

' Chicken Nanban Yaki W Set Meal ' (950 yen including tax, 900 yen including tax at takeout) has twice the amount of chicken. When I measured it while putting it in the vessel, the normal was 242 g and W was 453 g, so if I remove the sauce of 20 g or more and the sauce, it is almost double.

It looks like chicken is sinking in the sea of tartar, it seems like a rather heavy dish, but when you try it, the flavor is quite light. The chicken Nanban's weight is partly due to the seasoning with sweetness and sweetness of sweet vinegar and tartar sauce, and therefore it is also a menu that goes well with rice, but this tartar has a weak taste of mayonnaise, Maybe it's thanks to the tarragon? A refreshing tartar. Furthermore, the sauce was not as sweet as 'sweet vinegar', but rather had a sour taste like black vinegar, and the total landed 'lightly juicy'.

Especially in the latter half of the season, the vinegar flavor exceeds that of tartar, as the sauce is fully submerged at the bottom of the bowl. Even people who say 'Chicken Nanban is a bit heavy ...' may be surprisingly refreshing. On the other hand, it may be a balance that makes you want to season a little bit more for those who want to eat rice with chicken.

'Plenty of Tartar' Chicken Nanban Yaki Set Meal is on sale at Matsuya nationwide except for some stores such as Oi Racecourse, Nishinomiya Meisho SA, and Kansai Gakuin University.
