Intel unveils 'Core i9-9900KS', all eight cores can operate at 5 GHz

Intel presented 'Core i9-9900KS' before the keynote of

COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2019 . The base frequency is 4.0 GHz and all core turbo values are 5.0 GHz. Although there is a view that the number of production is limited because there is a character of Special Edition in the package, Intel has not announced information.

Core i9-9900KS is the latest model of the 9th generation Core processor. The same core silicon as Core i9-9900K is used, but all core turbo value has achieved performance improvement with 5.0 GHz to 9900 K which was all core turbo value 4.7 GHz and single core turbo value 5.0 GHz.

The base frequency is also 10% up from 3.6 GHz to 4.0 GHz. TDP (Thermal Design Power) has not been announced, but it has been pointed out that it may be higher than 95W at 9900K.

Detailed specifications, prices and release dates are expected to be announced at the Computex 2019 keynote.
