The place which I tried installing on a tripod is as follows.

Just connect the power cable and the LAN cable to the back of the hardware setup OK.

Installation of software

In order to allocate an IP address to the camera and make it accessible from browsers etc, special software is necessary, so we will install it first.

Double-click "index.html" in the supplied CD-ROM

Since the browser starts up automatically, click "Application"

Click "Agree and install"

When launching the software from the shortcut that was made on the desktop, the camera on the same LAN is displayed, so click

Enter the free IP address on the network, enter the DNS server information and password, then click "Set"

"Setting is OK" is displayed, so click "OK"

By double clicking on the name of the camera on the network after setting, you can see the video sent from the camera in the browser

I tried using

The startup screen looks something like this.

By clicking the "Settings" tab, you can adjust focus, frame rate, etc.

The setting screen is as follows.

On the "Image" tab in the "Video / Audio" section, you can adjust the exposure and dynamic range when shooting still images.

Fine focusing can be done on the "Focus" tab.

You can set the frame rate etc. on the "Video codec" tab. Recording at up to 60 fps is also possible, so you can take moving subjects smoothly.

If there is something you are having troubles with being reflected on a part of the image, select the "privacy masking" tab and cover the part you want to hide the square shape on the screen OK.

In the following example, the cover part of the book is painted black.

If you check "Viewer authentication" in the "Security" section and click "OK", you will need a password to view the images being sent from the camera.

After setting the above, authentication is required to go to the viewer screen.

Also, in the "action input" section, you can set such as start shooting when "motion detection" is done.

Furthermore, in the "action output" section you can also make settings such as "send mail" when "motion detection" is done.

I actually tried shooting

To shoot still images, click on the camera icon on the left side of the viewer screen.

Pictures taken actually in the office illuminated with the light of the fluorescent light are as follows.

When you click the icon with a red circle, shooting of the movie starts.
