Free software "Link Open" which can add seven functions such as expanding right-click menu of shortcut and opening linked folder in one shot

In Windows Vista, right-clicking the shortcut has a fairly useful function of "Opening the location of the file" that opens the linked folder. Depending on the software, it is very useful to be able to use these functions when adding plugins or backing up settings etc, but Windows XP does not have this function for some reason (Search "Link destination" from property Although it can be chosen, it means that you can not do it with one click from the right click, but it also takes time and effort to close the property later).

So I want to use this free software "Link Open". If you install it, you can right click on the shortcut, "Open the link in Explorer", "Open the link destination folder" "Select the link destination" "Select the link destination folder" "Open the linked property "Opening links with filers" and "Opening links at command prompts" are now displayed, which is quite useful. Especially by displaying shortcuts of each software from the start menu, right clicking, then moving to each folder is a momentum to zero the feeling of irritation so far, clearly saying it is one of essential software.

Downloading and installation methods etc. are as follows.

· Installation of "Open link destination with filer"
Open "LinkFile.ini" in the LinkFile folder, set up and save arbitrary filers. It is possible to specify the full path to the filer and specify the command line. If you want to change the filer after installation, you can fix LinkFile.ini in "Windows directory".

Then right click on "LinkFile.inf" in Explorer and select "Install" to complete installation

· Installation of "Open link destination at command prompt"
Right-click "LinkCmd.inf" in the LinkCmd folder and select "Install" to complete installation

You can uninstall it from "Add / Remove Programs"

By the way, this is the "open file location" feature that is installed in Vista. It is a good function for plain weather.
