On August 19, 2026, local time, SpaceX AI announced that Grok Build is now available on both the web and mobile versions. Grok Build is available to all SuperGrok and X Premium users.

According to SpaceXAI, as of July, Grok Build was an early beta version limited to users of the paid SuperGrok Heavy plan ($300/month: approximately 48,000 yen). Since then, Grok Build has undergone various improvements, including faster speeds, the ability to publish and share created models, integration with X, and access to custom models in the apps being built.

Apps created with Grok Build can be made public by the user, and if published, they will receive a unique address under the 'grok.me' domain. Users can also use their own custom domain for published apps. Furthermore, users can arbitrarily set the access scope of their app, such as 'Only me,' 'Anyone with the link,' or 'Everyone on the internet.' It is also possible to create a unique app cover, which is the artwork for the app. Users can upload their own images to be used as app covers.



Furthermore, when sharing an app created with Grok Build on X, it won't simply appear as a link; a banner will be displayed inline, including the user's handle name, and a play button will be displayed within the card.
