Rockstar Games, the developer of GTA6, announced on X that 'Pre-orders for GTA6 will officially begin on June 25th at digital stores and other select retailers.'

Furthermore, the logos for various social media accounts, including X and Instagram , have been changed from the previous yellow to the GTA 6 theme color, pink.



GTA 6 was announced in February 2022 and was initially scheduled for release in the latter half of 2025. However, in May 2025, it was announced that the release would be postponed to May 26, 2026, and then in November 2025, it was postponed again to November 19, 2026.

Kotaku, a media outlet specializing in games, reports that 'Historically, Rockstar Games has not announced further delays once they change their social media account icons and enter the marketing phase of a game. For example, Red Dead Redemption 2 also had a release date delay, but there was no change to the release date after the logo was changed.'

Kotaku further stated, 'Rockstar Games has finally entered the marketing phase,' adding, 'When Rockstar Games starts releasing cover art, taking money from people, and exchanging social media icons and banners, it means that unless something truly catastrophic happens, everyone involved is confident that the game will be released on schedule. In other words, unless the world ends between now and November, GTA 6 will be released on schedule.'

GTA 6 is scheduled to be released on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
