'Honoo no Toukyuu Onna Dodge Danko' is the legitimate sequel to the popular series ' Honoo no Toukyuuji Dodge Danpei ,' which was serialized in CoroCoro Comic and other publications from 1989 to 1995 and was also adapted into an anime. It depicts Danko, the daughter of Ichigeki Danpei, the protagonist of 'Dodge Danpei,' reviving the dodgeball club with Chinnen's daughter, Kobutsu Chinko, and fiercely battling their rivals.
In 'Dodge Danpei,' Danpei is known for practicing against his father Ichigeki Danjuro's giant tombstone, and in this work, Danko also practices against Danpei's giant tombstone, and a 'soul inheritance visual' was released when the anime adaptation was announced.

Furthermore, Noriko Hidaka, who played Danpei in 'Dodge Danpei,' will appear as the narrator and voice a past version of Danpei.

Along with the release of the teaser PV, it was announced that Katsuyuki Konishi will play the role of Danpei and Toru Inada will play the role of Chinnen.
The broadcast will begin in July 2026 on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS11.
The original manga is currently being serialized in Weekly CoroCoro Comic.
