This is what the 41mm model looks like on my wrist. The weight of the 41mm model is 31g, and the 45mm model is 36.7g. I usually wear the Apple Watch Ultra 2, and my first impression was that it was much lighter than the 41mm model.

The display uses an OLED Actua 360 display. The refresh rate is variable from 1 to 60Hz, the same as the previous model,
This is what the display looks like from directly above. The bezel measures about 3-4mm.
The default watch face is 'Modular' and looks like this.
There are also several other watch faces available. This is 'Corsa.'

The UI design uses ' Material 3 Expressive .' The simple, easy-to-read, flat design seems to be a good match for smartwatches, which must be operated on a small display.
Equipped with a multi-path heart rate sensor, the Pixel Watch 4 constantly monitors your heart rate, which you can view through the Fitbit app.

The Pixel Watch 4 also now allows you to take an electrocardiogram (BCG) via Fitbit. To take an electrocardiogram, touch the crown with your index finger.
The measurement results look like this.
I also tried measuring my sleep while wearing the Pixel Watch 4.
The sleep score is a total score out of 100. However, the score distribution is unknown.
The results are shown below, measured at the same time with the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Naturally, the results are almost the same, including the sleep depth data.
The Apple Watch gave me a partial sleep score.
The GPS is said to be more accurate than the previous model, and when I recorded my cycling route via Fitbit, it was accurately projected onto Google Maps along with my heart rate.
The Pixel Watch 4 is more power efficient than its predecessor, with a claimed battery life of 30 hours with the display always on and 48 hours with the battery saver on. I actually used it with the display always on, and after charging it to 100%, the battery was just 50% after about 17 hours of use.
It took about 34 hours for the phone to reach 0%, but with the Always-On Display turned off and battery saver enabled, you can expect it to last longer.
Charging has changed from the previous model, with the new style being to place the side of the device on the quick-charging stand, as shown below. It has a built-in magnet, so it holds the device in place quite securely. Also, when you turn the device sideways, the screen rotates 90 degrees, as shown below, so you can still see the time even when it's placed down. It takes about 5-6 minutes from the start of charging for the device to power up and recover to 10% battery.
It recovered to 89% in 30 minutes after starting charging.
It took 44 minutes to charge to 100%. The battery life has improved significantly from the previous model, and it can be charged to 100% in less than an hour, so it is perfectly possible to take it off and charge it while you're in the bath, and then leave it on the rest of the time.
After actually using it, I could clearly see that the Pixel Watch 4 is a genuine Google smartwatch with a high level of refinement. While the appearance isn't significantly different from the Pixel Watch 3, the improved power efficiency over the previous model means longer battery life and faster charging, which are welcome features for a smartwatch you'll want to wear all the time. This time, I tried the 41mm model, and even my male editor didn't find it too small. In fact, it's lighter and more compact, so if you're wearing it during exercise, the 41mm might be a better choice than the 45mm. However, the included active band is made of silicone and can get sweaty, so it might be a good idea to switch to a different band depending on your activity.
The Pixel Watch 4 is available in 41mm LTE models for ¥69,800 and Wi-Fi models for ¥52,800. The 45mm LTE models are available in 76,800 and Wi-Fi models for ¥59,800.
