At the time of the announcement, the service was only available in the U.S. with the top-tier paid plan, Google AI Ultra (36,400 yen per month). Now, it is also available in the cheaper Google AI Pro (2,900 yen per month), and is available in 159 countries, including Japan.
If you access Gemini with an account that has actually subscribed to Google AI Pro, you will notice that a 'video' feature has been added to the prompt input field.
Enter text to describe the video you want to generate and click the Send button.

Video production has begun.

The video was generated in about 1 minute and 30 seconds.
The generated video looks like this. The greeting is completed before drinking the protein, and 'Good morning' is in English, which is slightly different from the prompt, but everything else is output as instructed. The resolution of the generated video was 1280 x 720 pixels.
At the time of writing, only text prompts can be generated, but Josh Woodward, senior vice president of Google Labs and Google Gemini, said, 'We're almost ready to offer the ability to generate videos from images on Gemini.'
