When the woman tilted her head down, the mouse cursor moved from the center of the screen to the bottom, and the Gmail app opened.

Google has now revealed that it's bringing Face Control to ChromeOS, along with other educational features, which will allow users to use a variety of gestures to control the mouse cursor through the webcam on their Chromebook.

Face Control isn't Google's only project that enables hands-free interaction.

In May 2023, Google announced 'Project Gameface,' an open source project for Windows that allows users to move the mouse cursor with eyebrow and mouth movements, and in May 2024, it released the Android version of Project Gameface.
