Bluesky began offering a beta version of the 'Trends' feature in December 2024. The 'Trends' feature does not appear for Japanese users with the default language setting, and it is necessary to add 'English' to the 'Content Language' settings.

The newly added 'Trending Video' will be displayed under 'Trends.'
When you tap a video, it will play full screen.
Loop playback is the basic feature, and just like other video sharing apps, you can move to the next video by swiping vertically.
If you hold your device vertically, landscape videos will be played with large black bars at the top and bottom like this.
Bluesky's sudden focus on vertical videos is believed to be a way to accommodate the 'refugees' that have been created because TikTok is no longer available in the United States.
